One of England International’s major team players, Beth Mead, is a wonderful footballing talent that currently plays as a forward for the club Arsenal. She has represented England from every age level from under-15.
Beginning her career signed to California Girls FC, she she then was signed to Middlesbrough FC and then Sunderland at the age of 16, where she officially turned professional. During her time at Sunderland, she made some crucial moves, such as scoring in the shock Sunderland win over reigning champions Liverpool, and then in 2015, scored a hat-trick against league leaders Chelsea. These series of events made Beth the league-leading scorer with eight goals and put Sunderland a the top of the WSL 1 leaderboard.
A truly impressive and powerful player, Beth Mead scored a massive 23 goals in her first ever season with Sunderland, followed by 30 goals in 28 matches the following season, and 15 goals in the 2014 FA WSL season that lead Sunderland to promotion.
In 2017, Beth signed a full-time deal with Arsenal Ladies. However, instead of playing in the role of forward, she was moved to the role of winger. Changing up the role, because of another player signing, gave her the opportunity to experience a different position making her a more versatile player.
